I’m an integrative talking therapist. I studied at the University of South Wales, and graduated with a first class honours degree in Counselling and Therapeutic Practice.
I could use a lot of jargon to explain my approach to therapy, but you’d probably switch off, so I’m going to try and put this in the simplest terms possible:
I think the relationship we build is one of the most important factors in therapy.
We’ll work as a team to find the best approaches for you right now.
If something isn’t quite working we can change it.
Therapy should go at YOUR pace, not mine. If you’re not ready to explore something then I will respect that.
We can explore multiple strands of your life and work out how it all fits together.
On the therapy side of things:
So this is me…
I occasionally assist with teaching on LGBTQIA+ healthcare at UK universities, particularly relating to healthcare for trans men. Feel free to contact me if you’d like me to speak at your university or healthcare event
Outside the therapy room:
When I’m not being a therapist I can be found watching old Hollywood films, learning how to make better photographs, thrifting vintage outfits, or just hanging out with my cat.
